Windrush Church of England Primary School was inspected by The Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) on 3rd February, and we are pleased to share that the school was found to be living up to its foundation as a Church school. The report highlights that Windrush is successfully enabling both pupils and adults to flourish and identifies the following notable strengths:

  • Vision-Led Culture: Leaders and staff use a clear Christian vision to build a cohesive and welcoming school community.

  • A Culture of Love: A biblically rooted approach fosters a deep sense of belonging and strong relationships for everyone.

  • Inclusive Environment: Inclusion is a top priority, ensuring all pupils - including those with SEND - feel valued and gain the confidence to flourish.

  • Exceptional Wellbeing: The school provides outstanding support for the mental and emotional health of both pupils and adults.

  • Global Respect: Creative Religious Education helps children understand diverse worldviews, preparing them to lead with respect in a modern world.
