Susie Morrissey Transformation Director

Susie is a leader in the education sector and the Deputy Chief Operating Officer at River Learning Trust, where she supports the delivery of the Trust’s Back Office Change Programme and Growth Strategy. With a background in central and local government, a Diocese, and Multi-Academy Trusts, she has experience in school organisation, admissions, procurement cycles, and project and change management. Susie previously served as the founding Chief Operating Officer of the Oxford Diocesan Bucks Schools Trust, and managed School Place Planning and Secondary Admissions for Milton Keynes Council. Her operational experience includes contributing to the opening of new schools, managing capital rebuilds, and supporting cost efficiencies through strategic trust-wide procurements. A graduate in International Politics, she is qualified in PRINCE2, MSP, and P3O methodologies, applying these skills alongside her experience as a former Chair of Governors, IEB member and from being on the Governing Board of a Teaching School to support organisational improvement.
